# User account

## General information

A user account is required to use the App Store Manager and Android Release Notes Creator. The configurations created are saved under this account. An e-mail address and a password are required to create an account. The e-mail address is confirmed and validated via a verification e-mail. If you have not received an e-mail after successful registration, check your SPAM folder first and contact our support if necessary.

It is also possible to register via social accounts. Google, X (formerly Twitter), and Github accounts are supported here. These accounts can be managed via the platform provider.

## Account deletion

User accounts and all associated data can be deactivated and deleted upon request via the e-mail address used in the account settings.\
To delete your account and all information and configuration, please contact the support team <support@appstoremanager.net>.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.appstoremanager.net/documents/account-and-subscriptions/user-account.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
